A few things move the number. Each mattress adds $30, and a fridge or freezer with freon still in it adds $35 because that has to be handled right. Heavy debris like concrete or wet roofing gets quoted by weight. The fastest way to clear a hoarder's house is to have people loading and a trailer parked at the door so hauling happens in the same visit. We bring a 2024 Ram 2500 and a Big Tex hydraulic dump trailer, which means we are not making a dozen trips to the curb with a hand truck. The trailer dumps itself, so turnaround between loads stays short.

Speed has a limit, though, and it is set by the family. When someone wants to check a box of photos or a drawer before it goes, we wait. A house that took years to fill does not have to empty in an afternoon, and pushing too fast is how keepsakes end up in the landfill by mistake.
